The Scroll
My artwork is called The Scroll.
I made this artwork out of newspaper and paper towel rolls.
I pasted the
newspaper onto the paper towel rolls. Once I had done a full two covers I
started painting my project.
First I painted The Scroll white, and then I
painted The Scroll golden.
Once I was done painting I cut out some of a white
shirt and made it so it fit the length of The Scroll.
I then took golden paint
and squeezed it out onto the shirt to make it look like a very important scroll
for the emperor.
My scroll is a scroll used in the play for the pages. The pages
used it to give to the emperor. It had a very important message on it.
If I made
another scroll I would probably color it silver. I would also use paper instead
of fabric.
I loved making this project it was very fun.
The part I thought was
the best to make was writing the letters on with the gold paint.
I really do
wish we can make some more stuff as exciting as this project.
