This is an oil pastel resist.  I drew the picture with pencil and then I colored it with oil pastels.  Then I spread black paint on it and then I dabbed off the paint with a paper towel.   I liked making this because coloring it was fun, but the most fun part was putting black paint all over your paper and then spreading it out with a paint brush.
