The boys’ varsity
basketball team advanced to the regional semi-finals with a 60-53
victory over Trinity Prep last night. The guys used an explosive 2nd
quarter in which they outscored Trinity 26-11 to gain the
advantage. Tyler Bannon played his best game of the season scoring
26 points (including 7 3-pointers), 12 rebounds, and seven assists.
Jared Wishik added 12 points including back to back 3-pointers with
under three minutes to play to increase the lead to 10. Hamilton
Hunt returned from finger surgery in fine fashion going 8-10 from
the FT line. Zak Kazanski added five points and seven rebounds. We
host Tampa Prep next Tuesday at 7:00. Go Bucs!
