Students
at Berkeley are afforded the opportunity to compete on local,
regional, state and national levels in various mathematics
competitions. Depending upon grade level, students in the lower,
middle and upper divisions participate in these programs
throughout the school year. The Berkeley
Math Club participates in competitions throughout the
year. The Berkeley Chapter of Mu Alpha Theta, the National
Mathematics Honor Society, annually recognizes students who have
demonstrated superior achievement in the study of mathematics.
