Rajani Selected as Young Woman of Promise by Athena Society

Since 1981, the Young Women of Promise program has recognized and supported high school juniors who are contributing members of their communities and who demonstrate promise for even greater achievement. This program honors young women for their academic, athletic, community service and other achievements.  These young women are selected from throughout the Tampa Bay region and are stellar models of young leadership.

The Athena Society recognized Mira’s passion, positive attitude and exceptional abilities. She volunteers for causes benefitting youth, veterans and the homeless; contributes her impressive musical talents in the Center Stage Choir; and lends her talented acting abilities to Berkeley’s Advanced Theatre program. Mira demonstrates her strong work ethic and success in the classroom through her combined interests in science, writing and the arts.

Mira was honored on April 7 at an Athena Society luncheon attended by U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor (FL14) at the Centre Club in Tampa.
