50th Anniversary

A grand finale of events took place September 9-10, 2011 to complete a year of celebrations for Berkeley Preparatory School’s 50th anniversary. Students and alumni contributed more than 3000 volunteer hours to organizations, parks and schools on Friday, September 9, as part of Berkeley’s “Day of Service.” The day ended with a special presentation by Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn during an all-school convocation and a 50th Birthday Party for students hosted by the Parents’ Club and volunteers from the Berkeley Blazers. The Anniversary Observance was held on Saturday, September 10, followed by the Anniversary Dinner and Gala. A special thank you goes to the 50th Anniversary Committee for their tireless efforts and contributions. It was truly a wonderful occasion, and we thank everyone who joined us for this historic event!
