Faculty

	The Religious Studies Curriculum helps students understand their own faiths and the faiths of their friends. We seek to illuminate, the essential texts of Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and other world religions; to examine with mutual reverence and respect the various religious traditions, represented within the Berkeley community and with a focus upon the Judeo-Christian value structure. We call upon students to reflect carefully on the significance of their own and others’ spirituality in both the private and public realms.
