Stage Door
Stage Door, directed by Kathi Grau-LeBaron (e-mail: graukat@berkeleyprep.org),
offers various programs in the performing arts for middle division and high school students.
The following programs will be offered this summer.
Summer Stage - Summer Stage
The stage is set and ready for the 4th annual summer stage program. 6th graders through 8th
grade can participate in 3 weeks of dramatic fun as they develop and ensemble comedy play in our
brand new center! The young stars will rehearse, learn to build and paint sets in the scene
shop, shoot and edit a music video for their show in the video lab, hang lights and set the
stage in the black box theatre for their show! From 9 till noon, we'll learn theatre skills,
play theatre games, paint, sing, make a movie and produce a play to be presented at the end of
the session! It's a great time for rising Thespians to get the opportunity to produce a play in
our brand new center!

Tech Training for the Lykes Center for the Arts! -
Dr LeBaron is offering two sessions for technical training of students interested in learning
how to design and program lights and sound for use in the Lykes Center. Students will
participate in a week-long session, which will culminate in their becoming official technicians
to help run the center events for the next school year. Students will be awarded service hours
as they help run future programs. They will receive a badge and certification that will put
them on the technical resource team for the school year. If you have a desire to learn how
