GOAL III: A Vibrant and Engaged Community

GOAL III: A Vibrant and Engaged Community

Aspiration:  Berkeley welcomes, engages, and supports its students, families, employees, and alumni in a caring and inclusive community.  Berkeley seeks to enroll highly talented and curious individuals who together create an inspiring, diverse student body.  Berkeley develops students with a strong sense of social responsibility, and partners authentically with communities locally and across the globe, seeking to make a positive difference in the world.

Strategies:
  • Demonstrate the value of the Berkeley experience to families across the socio-economic spectrum.
  • Make the Berkeley onboarding experience thorough, caring, and impressive.
  • Hone Berkeley’s commitment to service to further cultivate and deepen student passion for making a positive difference.
  • Develop a signature program utilizing the resources of the entire community to advance and support the Berkeley graduate.
  • Increase access to Berkeley by expanding tuition assistance.
Founded in 1960, Berkeley is an independent, Episcopal, college-preparatory day school located in Tampa, FL, for boys and girls in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12. Approximately 1,400 students gather here from the greater Tampa Bay area to form ONE Berkeley.
