ALUMNI AFFINITY GROUP OPPORTUNITIES

Berkeley currently offers special interest groups that help fellow Buccaneers with similar career paths and hobbies get together. We currently support several areas of interest. Interested in joining or starting a new affinity group? Email alumni@berkeleyprep.org.

  • Berkeley Bar

    The Berkeley Bar is a professional networking group for all alumni working in law. This group is currently chaired by Dax Nelson ’96 and Rebecca Coulter Bell ’93.
  • Chicago Alumni Chapter

    The Chicago Alumni Chapter is a group that unites alumni and friends of Berkeley in Chicago fostering a continued bond and supporting ties of the school after graduation. The group is led by Jake Bernstein ’06.
  • New York Alumni Chapter

    Coming Soon! The New York City Alumni Chapter will unite alumni in the city to provide opportunities for networking and social events.
  • Boston Alumni Chapter

    Coming Soon! Stay tuned for more information regarding the launch of the third alumni chapter in 2021.
  • Health and Wellness

    The group meets informally for group workouts and wellness education. These gatherings are designed to welcome all alumni, regardless of your fitness level or wellness knowledge. The group is currently led by Dax Nelson ’96 and David Osterweil ’95.
  • Bucs with Babies

    Bucs with Babies create casual, informal playdate opportunities for alumni with children Pre-K and younger. The group is currently led by Erik Fischer ’04.
  • Caduceus Society

    The Caduceus Society is a professional networking group for all alumni practicing medicine, those currently working in the healthcare industry, veterinarians, and medical school students . This group is currently chaired by Preeti Jois ’93 and Mike McIlwain ’94.
Founded in 1960, Berkeley is an independent, Episcopal, college-preparatory day school located in Tampa, FL, for boys and girls in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12. Approximately 1,400 students gather here from the greater Tampa Bay area to form ONE Berkeley.
