  • Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures

    2019-20 Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures
There are two waves of pick up at the Casper Landis Buc Stop; Early Buc Stop begins at 3:00 p.m. for Lower Division students only; Late Buc Stop begins at 3:20 p.m. for all students. We plan to have Early Buc Stop pick up complete prior to allowing queued traffic for Late Buc Stop to proceed to the Casper Landis Buc Stop.

Please review the PICK-UP MATRIX to determine your unique pick-up procedure.

Please review the CAMPUS and ENTRANCES map to familiarize yourself with our points of entries and destinations.

    Drop Off

Seivold Center Drop Off (Pre-K, Kindergarten and grade one)
Early Childhood students, along with any Lower Division student(s) in a carpool with grades 2-5, are required to be dropped off at the Casper Landis Buc Stop and can be dropped off as early as 7:30 a.m.

Lower Division Drop Off (Grades 2 – 5 only)
Lower Division students must be dropped off in front of the Lower Division by accessing the New Orleans Avenue Gate via Kelly Road and can be dropped off as early as 7:30 a.m. Please note: grades 2-5 students carpooling with Middle and Upper Division students are allowed to be dropped off at the Casper Landis Buc Stop.

Middle Division and Upper Division Drop Off
Students may be dropped off at either the Casper Landis Buc Stop, or the Gills Hall Buc Stop. Please plan to arrive 15 to 20 minutes before 8:00 a.m. for easiest drop off. When dropping off students, parents should remain in the car so traffic can move smoothly. Do not use numbered parking spaces to drop off your student(s).

    Pick Up

Lower Division Pick Up Grades 2-5 only
Continue accessing the New Orleans Avenue Gate via Kelly Road beginning at 3:00 p.m.

Early Buc Stop Pick Up (Must use the Harrod Entrance on Bray Road)
Pick up for Pre-K, Kindergarten, and first grade, along with any Lower Division student(s) in a carpool with grades 2-5, are required to proceed to the Casper Landis Buc Stop, where you will be directed to pick up your student(s). Once you have picked up your student(s), all Early Buc Stop traffic (3:00-3:20 p.m.) WILL BE REQUIRED TO TURN RIGHT AND EXIT CAMPUS VIA THE LUCAS ENTRANCE ON EXTER WAY to avoid queued traffic coming from Bray Road for Middle and Upper Divisions dismissing at 3:20 p.m.

    Late Buc Stop Pick Up
ANY carpool can use the Late Buc Stop. Late Buc Stop pick up begins at 3:20 p.m. Vehicles arriving prior to 3:20 p.m. via the Harrod Entrance on Bray Road will be queued by parking staff while Early Buc Stop traffic exits campus. Late Buc Stop traffic can exit the Casper Landis Buc Stop via the Lucas Entrance to access Exter Way, the Harrod Entrance to access Bray Road, or Forsyth Road to access the Kosloske Family Entrance on Kelly Road after 3:35 p.m.

Middle Division and Upper Division Pick Up
All non-Lower Division pick up begins during Late Buc Stop and can take place at the appropriate pick-up locations (Gills Hall Buc Stop or the Casper Landis Buc Stop).

    Please Note
If at any point you have questions, a member of our Allied Security team will be happy to point you in the right direction.

  • School Uniform Requirements

Each division at Berkeley has their own policy on uniforms. The Lower and Middle Divisions require a daily uniform Monday through Thursday and a formal uniform on Friday. Upper Division follows a standard of dress code Monday through Thursday and requires a formal uniform on Friday. Contact your specific division office at (813) 885-1673 to inquire about specific dress code policies.
  • Berkeley’s Dining Options

Berkeley partners with SAGE Dining Services to provide daily meals to our school community.  Students who take advantage of the Berkeley dining program are able to enjoy a wide selection of food in the beautiful Berkeley Café (Middle and Upper Divisions) and Lower Division Activity Center and the new dining hall in the Seivold Center for Early Childhood Education (Lower Division). Working with SAGE brings a wealth of experience providing the best dining options in an academic setting. Their team of registered dietitians continuously works with Berkeley’s food service manager and chefs to develop recipes that adhere to the highest nutritional standards. All students are automatically enrolled in the dining program at the beginning of the year and have the opportunity to opt out.
  • Transportation Options

Berkeley evaluates these relationships every year and selects carrier(s) which, in its judgment, best meet the needs of the school community. Berkeley is currently recommending Network Transportation Solutions. Please call the company directly if you wish to use them for transportation.* Main Contact: Sami Elotmani Office # 407-722-8283 Email: Reservations@networktransportationww.com

*Please note that families can privately contract with any service they wish to hire for their transportation needs.
