Lakeland High Results

The Varsity Boys Basketball team lost to Lakeland HS 52-51 in a hard fought battle. The game consisted of several early lead changes. The Bucs trailed by two points going into halftime, and in the 2nd half used a zone defense to slow down the tempo and disrupt their offensive flow. The Bucs had an eight point lead with just under four minutes remaining. However, costly turnovers and rushed decisions allowed Lakeland to tie the game and have the ball on the last possession. A foul was called against the Bucs with .4 seconds that put Lakeland at the line to close out the game. CJ Hawkins led with 26 points 15 rebounds.
