Region Results

The Varsity Boys Golf team wrapped up their season yesterday at Regionals.  Led by Alex Ogle (Sr) and followed by Ronav Benak (So), Andrew Zhao (So), Hayes Corcell (8th) and Harrison Corcell (Fr), the boys put up a good fight on their home turf only to come up short of qualifying for States.

While the team missed qualifying by just two shots, Alex rose to the occasion as he qualified for States as an individual, shooting a hard fought 1 under par - 71. As a point of reference, Alex last qualified for Regionals as a 7th grader so to do so again while playing in his last tournament as a Buc is a testament to Alex's hard work and dedication to the sport and the team.  In typical fashion, however, Alex's first comment after the match was how sad he was that the team had not qualified, not about how happy he was that he had done so individually.

As we look back on the season, we are super proud of the entire Boy's golf team.  Huge thank you to senior, Dylan Geller, for his leadership and easy-going, positive outlook and the following players for their hard work throughout the season - Preston Rodriguez (Jr), Payson Brugge (Jr), Jordan Pfau (Fr) and Davis Daigle (Fr).  We look forward to coming back stronger than ever in 2023!  Go Bucs Golf!
