Journey With God

In the lesson from the Prophet Isaiah, we hear, “He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” This represents how God is seen through kindness, humility, and justice. Our faith and actions are connected, because through every kind action we may do, he’s there, and every time we face justice, he's there.

Often when we come to God, we think and ask him about what we need to do in order for him to be with us and help us in our everyday lives. But I think we ultimately forget that God is always with us through every step and every journey we take.

And I know in my life it can be easy to overlook God's presence when you have a hardship occurring, but as the Collect says, “Almighty and everlasting God, mercifully hear the supplications of your people, and in our time grant us your peace;”

God is always with you, helping and hearing your supplications, and I believe, as long as you follow God and trust in him through the ups and downs, he can help to show you peace and love throughout our life.
