Berkeley's Upper Division Theatre program has been participating in the Broadway Star of the Future adjudication process for its spring musical for the last six years. This year, the program achieved a milestone by entering its fall play for the first time. The judging panel reviewed a total of 45 musicals and 28 plays from 44 high schools across 9 counties. Founded in 1960, Berkeley is an independent, Episcopal, college-preparatory day school located in Tampa, FL, for boys and girls in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12. Approximately 1,400 students gather here from the greater Tampa Bay area to form ONE Berkeley.
