Students Participate in School-Wide "Wrap-In"

Hundreds of deserving children will be guaranteed a gift under the tree this holiday season as a result of the fourth annual Berkeley “Wrap-In,” that took place on December 7. This remarkable service initiative brought together the entire school community to benefit local charities throughout the Tampa Bay region. Students from all three divisions donated gifts and worked together with faculty to decorate and fill more than 1,000 gift bags.

Faculty members provided a variety of fun items including stickers and tissue paper, which the students used to decorate the gift bags. Students also wrote notes of holiday well-wishes to the children who will receive these gifts. All of the donated gifts were then delivered to the Aye Arboretum where our generous parent volunteers collected and sorted the gifts in preparation for delivery. The following organizations will benefit from this “Wrap-In” initiative: Redlands Christian Migrant Association, the Head Start Programs at Jackson Springs and Town & Country Commons, and Dover Elementary School.
