The Berkeley Bar strives to promote networking opportunities, professional development, and educational forums for alumni dedicated to the practice of law. In 2015, Katie Alberts Peluso ’05 founded the group. The Berkeley Bar is currently chaired by Dax Nelson ’96 and endorsed by Rebecca Coulter Bell '93. Berkeley Chicago Chapter
The Chicago Alumni Chapter was founded by Jake Bernstein ’06 in 2018. The group unites alumni and friends of Berkeley in Chicago fostering a continued bond and supporting ties of the school after graduation.
Berkeley Lunch Club
Founded in 2015 by Erica Johnson Clark ’04, the Berkeley Lunch Club creates casual informal events for busy alumni professional in the area. Over the past three years, the group has grown and now hosts lunches downtown and in the International Plaza and Bay Street food court.
Black Alumni Network
The Black Alumni Network was launched in 2015 by Monty Garside ’95 to initiate a new alumni effort to bring together black alumni. Alumni members meet quarterly with Upper and Middle Division students and their parents through lunches, events and programs.
In the fall of 2017, Dax Nelson ’96 shared an opportunity to engage alumni in the Tampa Bay area through group fitness. The group meets informally for group workouts each semester. These classes are designed to go at your own pace and no experience is needed. Together let’s meet our fitness goals and have some fun meeting them together!
The Caduceus Society formed for alumni who practice medicine to provide networking and mentoring opportunities. The group was launched and spearheaded by Preeti Jois ’93 in Mrs. DeWeese’ Lab! In 2018, Mike McIlwain '94 joined leadership as the endorser. The godmother of the Caduceus Society, Mrs. DeWeese attends a few meetings to check in on her former students!
