Boys Soccer: Tim Cooper

Boys head varsity coach, Tim Cooper, has been with the Buccaneers since 2006. Coach Cooper has led Berkeley to nine District titles, four Regional championships, and three State Runner-Up finishes. Coach Cooper won the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's Florida High School Coach of the Year awards in 2012 and again in 2017. He has over 20 years of coaching experience, coaching at the high school, club, and collegiate levels. Before taking the Berkeley position he was the assistant boys coach at Countryside High School for six years assisting the team to a State Championship and #1 National ranking in 2005-2006. He played all four years at Florida Southern College and was named to the all-conference team three times. Coach Cooper played professionally in England and in the US and still continues to play, recently winning a National Championship with his local men's team.

Founded in 1960, Berkeley is an independent, Episcopal, college-preparatory day school located in Tampa, FL, for boys and girls in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12. Approximately 1,400 students gather here from the greater Tampa Bay area to form ONE Berkeley.
