Tennis: Jacquelyn Rosen

Jacquelyn Rosen has been the varsity head coach and Director of Tennis at Berkeley Preparatory School since 2011. Coach Rosen has led the Berkeley boys team to three State appearances and a Boys Doubles State Championship. Since 2017, Coach Rosen has led the Berkeley girls team to 3 straight undefeated regular seasons at 45-0 and 3 straight years of district and regional championships along with 3 straight State appearances. In 2018 Rosen’s girls team was State Runner-Up. Coach Rosen was the 2018 FHSAA “Girls Tennis Coach of the Year”. In 2011, Coach Rosen led Plant High School to a girls State Championship, also earning recognition as the Hillsborough County Coach of the Year." Coach Rosen also serves as the Venue Director for the Special Olympics Tennis. As a player, Coach Rosen was the #1 ranked junior player in the USA as a 12 and 14-year old. At age 14 she was the #1 ranked junior player in Florida in the girls 18-year old division. At age 15 Coach Rosen turned pro and travelled the world playing professionally winning numerous professional WTA/ITF tournaments.
