Eleven Berkeley Student- Athletes Commit to Play College Sports

“Today is a special day as many student-athletes across the country sign their National Letters of Intent.  Currently, Berkeley has 45 alumni participating in varsity collegiate athletics.  Today, 11 more Berkeley student-athletes from the Class of 2018 make that commitment,” said athletic director Bobby Reinhart. “All 11 have proudly donned the Buccaneer uniform and represented Berkeley admirably.  Each has proven that athletic excellence can co-exist with exemplary performance in the classroom.  Congratulations to you all – we are so proud of you.”
 
National Signing Day has become an annual tradition at Berkeley honoring the hard work and dedication of our senior Buccaneers who will continue their academic and athletic endeavors at some of the country’s top colleges and universities.

Amanda Phegley - Volleyball - Penn State University
Isabella Samson - Volleyball - Berry College
Kellyn Trowse - Volleyball - Elon University
Grace Varsames – Volleyball - Harvard
