St. Stephen's Results

The JV Tennis teams played St. Stephens on our home courts at Berkeley Prep. After Lizbette Ocana fought for her tiebreak win in her singles match and Kendyl Kirtley won her tough match as well, Berkeley was 2 and 2 going into the doubles. With grit and some encouragement both Sarah Halawani and Lizbette Ocana (winning 7-5 in a tie breaker) and Kendyl Kirtley and Aimee Laxer pulled off 2 wins in doubles to clench the match 4-3. Great effort from all of our girls for our last match of the year! A big thank you from the coaches for making this a fun and successful season. Go Bucs! Win 4-3.
On the boys side the singles winners were Nolan Tuite, Edward Kuperman, Jens von Greiff and Dawson Geller, who all won impressively. In the doubles Rija Datta and Tuite lost 8-6 in a tiebreaker that could have gone either way. Kuperman and von Greiff won in their doubles match. The coaches are proud of all the boys for coming out on top today with solid tennis! Go Bucs!
