For the Attack on the Mosques in New Zealand, March 15

Holy God, today we mourn with our Muslim friends around the world, and especially in New Zealand, in the wake of the attack on two mosques during afternoon prayers. We pray for the souls of the dead, comfort for all who grieve, and solace in a time of great peril. Surround all people of faith who feel persecuted and unsafe in expressing their devotion to you. May this tragedy further our conviction to include, seek to understand, and embrace all who may differ from us. And may we so bold as to stand in solidarity with those who suffer.
