Bolles Results

On Saturday, the Varsity & MD Swimming & Diving teams faced Bolles of Jacksonville, their toughest dual meet of the year. The Varsity boys managed to win 9 of the 11 events on the day but ultimately fell to the Bulldogs 186-124. The boys were led by double event winners Tyler Roberton, Logan Ingerick and Christopher Dieffenthaller. The boys also won two of the three relays (200 Medley - Ingerick, Dieffenthaller, Des Rosier and Showalter) (400 Free - Ingerick, Des Rosier, Dieffenthaller and Roberton). Mason Mosher also won the diving event.
Even though the Lady Bucs were defeated on the night, the coaches are proud of each and every one of the girls. Everyone stepped up and competed hard and did not back down from the challenge. The lone winner on the day was Amy Wotovich in diving. There were many highlights, especially the 200 Medley Relay that went 1:52.49, this was an outstanding early season time (Bishop, Holmes, Arcila, and Easton).
The MD girls and boys teams raced tough, smart and proud against the Bolles School. This was the first MD vs MD meet of its kind in the State and proved to be a GREAT format. The girls team was triumphant! Led by our single event winner, Paige Easton (50 Breast), the girls took down the bulldogs 125-88. The boys team earned a close second to Bolles with a score of 125-130. Everyone on the team played a part in earning points toward the total.
