Tri-Match Results

The Varsity Golf team turned it up and in dramatic fashion earned their first 2 victories of the season! The opponent was only scheduled to be Sickles High School but Alonso High School was added to the match to make for an exciting tri-match that took an extra hole to determine the outright winner!
The boys finished with their best team score of the season 156. Sickles also scored 156 and Alonso finished with 211. The Bucs took the match against Alonso and needed overtime to break the tie with Sickles. So off went the two low individual scorers for each team, and playing for Berkeley was Freshman Captain Alex Ogle. The decision took only one extra hole as Alex Ogle secured the victory with a par 5 on the 1st hole of the Eagles Golf Club-Lakes Course. Alex was cool, calm and collected as his Varsity teammates followed along and cheered him to victory. We even saw a slight water bottle splash during the victory celebration!
Freshman Captain Alex Ogle started the road to victory with a bogey free round of 1 under par score of 35. Seventh grader Ronav Benak continued to pile on for the win with a score of 38, Senior Captain Nick Hajjar wanted the win and came away with a round of 41, Freshman Dylan Geller put the icing on the cake with a final tally of 42, Freshman Logan Wang contributed with a score of 43 and finishing the road to victory was Senior Zachary Erickson who completed the day with a total of 52.
