ast night, in their home opener, the MD Navy A Volleyball team beat Academy at the Lakes in two sets. The Bucs tried out a new rotation with Katherine Muldrow stepping up to lead the team as setter. Serving runs by Lauren Fink, Emerson Combs and Rachel Cunningham helped the Bucs win set one 25-3. Set two started off with some strong serves by the Wildcats but the Bucs fought back. A big block by Sydney Heller, a kill by Gabby Gorman and a great pass by Sofia Malmqvist turned it around for the Bucs and they swept set two 25-8. Berkeley will host Corbett Prep tonight at 5pm in the Dimmitt. Come out and watch your Navy’A! Go Bucs!
