Wiregrass Results

The Varsity Hockey team was back in action on Friday night, facing off against the Wiregrass Bulls for the first time this season. Fueled by the always exuberant fan base, the Ice Bucs defense played with intensity in the first period, thwarting the quick Wiregrass attack over and over again. At the first intermission, the teams were deadlocked at 0-0. In the second period, Wiregrass was the first to break the tie with a flurry of unanswered goals. However, the Ice Bucs finally responded in the third period with a great snipe from senior forward, George Doster – his first goal on the season. Unfortunately, it would be too little too late.
