Trinity Results

The Varsity Swimming & Diving team dominated their Orlando rival Trinity Prep on Friday 186-110. The boys won every swimming event on the evening. The Bucs swept the relays, 200 Medley Relay (Ingerick, Dieffenthaller, Showalter and Johnson) 200 Free Relay (Ingerick, Des Rosier, Showalter and Roberton) and 400 Free Relay (Roberton, Johnson, Des Rosier and Dieffenthaller), double event winners on the evening were Tyler Roberton (200Free and 500Free), Christopher Dieffenthaller (200IM and 100Breast) and Logan Ingerick (100Fly and 100Back). Also chipping in were Scott Showalter winning the 50Free and Graham Johnson in the 100Free.
The Lady Bucs also swam very well but fell to the Saints 165-141. The girls won the 200 Free Relay (E. Easton. Bishop, Arcila and Holmes). On the individual side Mabry Bishop won the 200IM and 100 Fly while Allison Holmes won the 100 Breast. Amy Wotovich won the diving event. The coaches were very proud of how the girls competed and it was by far their best meet of the season.
On Friday, the MD Bucs swam against last year’s MD Champions in front of a great crowd at the Cantonis Pool. The team raced tough and proud, but came up short. This was the last MD meet before the end of season championship meet at Tampa Prep on October 19th.
