The Varsity Girls Golf team took the victory with no sweat yesterday, because Carrollwood Day School was only able to field a team of 3. You need 4 to compete for a team match so the girls collected the win by forfeit with a team total of 177. Leading the way to the W was freshman Kavya Ajjarapu who turned in an even par score of 36. Junior Captain Justyce Barber scored her way to a round of 44, Sophomore Ava Hajjar had a solid day with a score of 48, Sophomore Amanda Bradley made it around in 49 strokes and finishing the team scoring was 7th grader Emma Yu with a total of 55.
The Varsity Boys Golf team finished a few shots closer to Carrollwood Day School on their home turf, but again came up short 160-164. Continuing to dominate the opposition individually is Freshman Captain Alex Ogle who has now moved into the two scoop ice cream finale! Alex went low again scoring a 1 under par score of 35, 7th grader Ronav Benak played alongside Captain Ogle and turned in a round of 40, Freshman Logan Wang came in with a total of 44, Senior Captain Andrew Mack played to a score of 45, Senior Captain Nick Hajjar finished the day with 46 strokes and Freshman Dylan Geller wrapped up the team scoring with a round of 53.
