March 24 Update from Headmaster Seivold

I hope this note finds you well and navigating what for many of us has been an unusual spring break, to say the least. Keeping our students and families foremost in our minds at all times, we’ve continued to work hard here to envision and craft a terrific and impactful next phase of the 2019-20 school year, which is an interesting challenge in a time when there are still so many unknowns.

We will restart school this coming Monday, using a variety of remote learning methodologies as we continue to fulfill our commitment to deliver an outstanding educational experience to our students. In order to allow our faculty to be fully prepared to execute on that mission-driven promise, teachers will be dedicating much of Monday, March 30 (the first official day back from their own vacations) to finalize planning and preparation for ‘remote school.' As such, Monday’s school day will flow somewhat differently than will be the case starting Tuesday; more division-specific information on that will be forthcoming later this week.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we move forward, together, during these trying times. For now, I hope you will continue to stay safe, and greatly enjoy what remains of spring break.
