Four Berkeley Student-Athletes Commit To Play College Sports

On April 14, four student-athletes from Berkeley Preparatory School committed to compete in their collegiate sport of choice in a joint ceremony livestreamed to classmates, faculty, friends, and family members. Those committing to compete for a Division 1 program signed the National Letter of Intent.

“The student-athletes have proudly donned the Buccaneer uniform and represented Berkeley admirably,” said Bobby Reinhart, Berkeley’s Athletic Director.  “Each has proven that athletic excellence can co-exist with exemplary performance in the classroom.  Congratulations to you all – we are so proud of you.”

Signing Day has become an annual tradition at Berkeley honoring the hard work and dedication of our senior Buccaneers who will continue their academic and athletic endeavors at some of the country’s top colleges and universities.

Signees include:
Sofia Beljic – Track & Field – Elon University
Johnathan Bruno – Baseball – George Washington University
Knox Meier – Baseball – Washington and Jefferson College
Spencer Rose – Hockey – Tufts University

The ceremony was streamed live on the Berkeley Broadcast Network and can be replayed for viewing here.
