For the People of God Who Are Muslim at Ramadan

God you are great, full of wondrous deeds, giver of glorious visions. We celebrate before you the people of Islam. Our Muslim brothers and sisters witness to us the oneness of God, the sacredness of the divine image in humanity, the pillars of justice and truth that hold up the world. At this time of year we celebrate their strength in self-denial. Remind us not to accept off-hand discrimination or ignorant stereotypes, to open our eyes to the goodness and love that exist in people, to be appreciative of the gifts that our brothers and sisters hold out to us.
