Northside Results

The Varsity Boys Basketball team moves to 18-7 after defeating Northside Christian 52-44 in the District Quarterfinal game. The Bucs came out slow in the 1st quarter after struggling from the free throw line and failing the make outside shots. The team began to find their rhythm in the 2nd quarter, scoring baskets in transition. The Bucs went into the half tied 21-21 and came out in the 3rd quarter with a 10-0 run with great execution on offense and tenacious defense. The lead was extended to fourteen points late in the game as the Bucs avoided turning the ball over, and allowing easy baskets. CJ Hawkins led all scorers with 26 points 16 rebounds.
