Onto the Final Four!

The Varsity Baseball team are Ft. Myers bound and will compete in the FHSAA Final Four after defeating Lakeland Christian last night 8-5 to capture their first Regional Championship in 6 years. The Bucs offense was red hot in the first inning, scoring 8 runs. James Hankerson got the scoring going with a grand slam. Wyatt Ewanowski added a two run homerun to make the score 6-0. Cade Kurland hit his 12th homerun of the season to make the score 8-0 after the top half of the 1st inning. Andrew Jergins threw 3 2/3 innings, giving up three hits and striking out 8. Rivers Kurland went the final 3 1/3 innings to close out the game, giving up three hits and striking out 5. The Bucs play on Tuesday at 10am in Ft. Myers vs. The Villages Charter School.
