Power of Prayer

When Chaplain gave me the opportunity to write this reflection, it took me a while to figure out how I had seen G-d throughout my lifetime. By constantly deleting those previous sentences I have written, it came to me that G-d is everywhere in our lives. Although I do not visibly see him, it is in the little moments of life where he reveals his presence in a variety of ways from the people we hang out with, or the natural environment that he had created for us.

For me, I have seen G-d’s presence through the answering of our prayers and needs. I would like to use an example of an academic decision that I had truly thought to be awful. However, by the power of prayer, I was able to perceive that G-d was able to forgive my previous actions. It was the idea that G-d would accept prayers as long you confess your wrongdoing. It enabled me to understand what he truly is, and for him to influence his wisdom towards my previous efforts. Also to add He’ll do anything, but he exactly understands and will answer your prayers in His way.

I would just like to end this reflection with a bible verse from Ephesians Chapter 6, through verse 18: “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
