The Lord watches over you

In today’s Psalm, it says, the Lord himself watches over you, the Lord is your shade at your right hand, so that the sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night, the Lord shall preserve you from all evil; it is he who shall keep you safe.

Chaplain asked me to write a reflection about how I have seen God in the world lately, and I didn’t know where to start. However, after reading this part of the Scripture, it reminded me that God is always with you and here to help you along the way.

For example, a couple months ago I got badly injured during the beginning of my soccer season here at Berkeley. And, because of this, I ended up not being able to play the rest of our season. I was so upset, however I knew I would be able to push through it and come back even healthier. I knew God was with me every step of the way during my injury, and now during my PT, keeping me safe, and pushing me to keep going.

So even when you may face hardships, just remember that God is always watching over you, ready to help.
