Hillsborough County Honors Berkeley Girls Volleyball State Champs

Hillsborough County Commissioner Kevin Beckner recognized the 2009 Berkeley Girls Volleyball team this morning during the Board of County Commissioner's Meeting.  The Girls Volleyball team won their 13th State Championship this season.  The volleyball program has a longstanding record of developing talented players and reaching outstanding accomplishments.  Players and coaches alike gathered today to be recognized by Commissioner Beckner.  The team was presented with a proclamation in acknowledgement of their achievements which states, “The spirit of determination and dedication of an exceptional coaching staff and an elite group of young ladies continues to make an important difference in our community.” Congratulations, Bucs!
