Congratulations to the Class of 2010!

On June 6, 128 students received their diplomas at Berkeley's 48th commencement exercises. The Class of 2010 distinguished itself in the classroom, on the athletic field and in support of the community through various volunteer opportunities. They were accepted to a combined total of 136 colleges and universities in 30 states and the District of Columbia. The class of 2010 includes six National Merit finalists and five National Merit Commended students. All of our seniors were accepted in a four-year college or university, and 100 students will attend out-of-state schools (78% of the class).

The class of 2010 has earned $6 million in scholarship money to date, and 92% of the class qualified for the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program (56% Florida Academic Scholars and 36% Florida Medallion recipients). Congratulations to all of our graduating seniors. We are proud of you! Good luck at college next year, and remember your alma mater!
