Berkeley Debate Team Wins Regional Competition!

For the sixth-consecutive year, the Berkeley Debate Team earned first place at the regional competition. The team of Andrew Goldfield ’13 and Xunhan Xu ’13 posted a perfect record at the event. The regional competition concluded with a three-way tie for the tournament’s top individual debater, all whom were from Berkeley. Congratulations to Yunham, Jake Salzer ’12 and Robert Danco ’14!

Berkeley will be sending three teams to the State Championships in March. Joining Andrew and Xunhan will be Jake and his teammate Francis Migliore ’13 and Robert and Ryan Divers ’14. Congrats debaters on your success this year and good luck at States!
