Congratulations to the Class of 2011!

On June 5, 144 students received their diplomas at Berkeley's 49th commencement exercises. The Class of 2011 distinguished itself in the classroom, on the athletic field and in support of the community through various volunteer opportunities. They were accepted to a combined total of 167 colleges and universities in 33 states, the District of Columbia, Italy and Scotland. The class of 2011 includes 13 National Merit finalists and eight National Merit Commended students. Ninety-nine students will attend out-of-state schools (69 percent of the class).

The class of 2011 has earned $9 million in scholarship money to date, and 92 percent of the class qualified for the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program. Congratulations to all of our graduating seniors. We are proud of you! Good luck at college next year, and remember your alma mater!
