Third-Annual “Wrap-In” Brings Holiday Cheer

Berkeley students and faculty came together on the morning of December 2 for Berkeley’s third-annual “Wrap-In.” This remarkable service initiative brought together the entire school community to benefit local charities. Students from all three divisions donated gifts and worked together with faculty to decorate and fill more than one thousand gift bags.

Faculty members provided a variety of fun items including stationery and tissue paper, which the students used to stuff the gift bags and prepare hand-written cards. All of the donated gifts were then delivered to the Aye Arboretum where our generous parent volunteers collected and sorted the gifts in preparation for delivery to the different agencies, while students enjoyed snacks and cookies. Throughout the day, the artfully decorated gifts were on display in celebration of this wonderfully collaborative effort to celebrate the spirit of giving. The following organizations are benefiting from this “Wrap-In” initiative: Redlands Christian Migrant Association, Head Start Programs at Jackson Springs, McCloud and Town & Country Commons and Dover Elementary School.
