Berkeley Student-Athletes Participate in National Signing Day

Seven Berkeley student-athletes gathered today in a ceremony and signed National Letters of Intent in front of their families, coaches and peers. Congratulations Nelson Agholor ’12, Reggie Barnes ’12, Mark Biddinger ’12, Tyler Davis ’12, Christian Hardegree ’12, Schyler Miles ’12 and Lee Newhaller ’12 for signing with their academic institution of choice and committing to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level.

In front of local media and broadcast nationally via ESPNU, Agholor committed to play football at the University of Southern California. Barnes (Air Force Academy), Davis (Jacksonville University), Hardegree (Colgate University) and Miles (University of Kansas) all signed Letters of Intent to continue their football careers at the next level. Biddinger will play soccer at the University of Louisville and Newhaller committed in soccer to American University.
 
Congratulations to all seven of our signees for making the Berkeley community proud both on and off the field. We wish them the best of luck in their journey ahead.
