  • BUC BASH

    Details: The BUC BASH party is an adults-only event featuring delicious food, cocktails and awesome music in a casual environment. BUC BASH is Parents’ Club’s sole fundraiser.

  • BUC BASH Online Auction

    Details: In support of BUC BASH, the BUC BASH Online Auction begins one week prior to the BUC BASH party and will close at the event. The auction is comprised of special experiences for students of all ages contributed by our Berkeley faculty and staff, as well as unique one-of-a-kind experiences for parents.

  • Cookie Extravaganza

    Details: Parents’ Club’s annual Cookie Extravaganza “thank you” to our amazing Berkeley faculty and staff. Parent volunteers bake thousands of cookies for this event.

  • Faculty and Staff Appreciation

    Details: The annual Faculty and Staff Appreciation event is hosted by Parents’ Club for the entire Berkeley faculty and staff community.

  • Grandparents' Day

    Details: Berkeley’s Grandparents’ Day is held annually. Grandparents are invited to the campus to enjoy special time with their grandchild(ren).

  • Parents’ Club Spring General Meeting and Volunteer Appreciation Coffee

    Details: Parents’ Club’s Spring General Meeting and Volunteer Appreciation Coffee takes place annually in the spring and provides a summary of accomplishments.

  • Share the Love of Reading Book Drive

    Details: Share the Love of Reading Book Drive is Berkeley Parents’ Club’s annual book drive benefiting schools in our community and local charities, as well as our Bahama Books program.

Lower Division Engagement Opportunities

  • Ambassador Program

    Details: Current Lower Division Berkeley parents are assigned as Ambassadors to new Lower Division parents.

    Date: Takes place throughout the school year.

  • Aqua Parents

    Details: Parent volunteers assist with the P.E. swim program. Pre-K and Kindergarten swim in the fall, and grades Pre-K – 5 swim in the spring.

    Spring Dates: Select hours during the school day in Fall 2022 and Spring 2023

  • Book Fair

    Details: Berkeley Lower Division holds week-long Book Fairs twice each school year – a Holiday Book Fair in the late fall and a Spring Book Fair closer to the end of the school year. All classes in all Lower Division grades have an assigned time to shop.

  • Fall Fair

    Details: Fall Fair is hosted annually by Parents’ Club and is a fun-filled event for all Lower Division students and their families. There will be bounce houses, games, and a lot of fun surprises.

  • Farmers’ Day

    Details: Farmers’ Day marks the end of the school year for Lower Division. The Blue and White teams compete in various games and activities during this fun field day.

  • Homeroom Parents

    Details: Each grade-level class in Lower Division has an assigned Homeroom Parent. Homeroom parents within each grade work together with the teachers to organize class parties and provide field trip chaperones.

  • Jitters and Java

    Details: Join other new-to-Lower Division Berkeley Parents for a quick cup of coffee to celebrate the first day of school.

  • Library Volunteers

    Details: Parent volunteers are needed to work with the Lower Division Library staff to help shelve books.

    Date: Takes place throughout the school year.

  • Lunchroom Volunteers

    Details: Parent volunteers are needed to work with the Lower Division faculty to help during lunchtime.

  • Senior/Kindergarten Picnic

    Details: The Senior/Kindergarten Picnic is an annual event hosted by Parents’ Club, which brings together Seniors with their Kindergarten buddies. They enjoy a picnic-style lunch and walk together to and from Convocation.

  • Turkey Trot

    Details: Turkey Trot is a fun run, which takes place during normal school hours, where all Lower Division students will walk or run a 1K, 3K, or 5K.

  • Used Uniforms

    Details: Parents’ Club manages the sale of Lower Division used uniforms, the proceeds from which benefit Parents’ Club sponsored events.

    Details: Current Middle Division Berkeley parents are assigned as Ambassadors to new Middle Division parents.

  • Athletic Spirit Days

    Details: The Middle Division area is decorated for special events, including Homecoming, Headmasters’ Challenge, and Spring Tailgate.

    Date: Decorating typically takes place a few days prior to the event.

  • Eighth Grade Lunch

    Details: Each spring, Parents’ Club honors students in grade 8 with a year-end lunch, which takes place on campus.

  • Field Day

    Details: Field Day is a high energy competition between the Middle Division Cope and Mitre teams. The Cope and Mitre teams compete in various games and activities during this fun field day.

    Details: The Senior Send-Off takes place immediately after Baccalaureate. Seniors are acknowledged by the grade year in which he or she joined the Berkeley community followed by the presentation of the Class of 2023 video.

Berkeley Preparatory School

Founded in 1960, Berkeley is an independent, Episcopal, college-preparatory day school located in Tampa, FL, for boys and girls in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12. Approximately 1,400 students gather here from the greater Tampa Bay area to form ONE Berkeley.
