Bio
Coach Ken Roberts has provided a long-term level of leadership as head coach of the Berkeley Girls Soccer Program. Since becoming the head coach in 1981, Berkeley girls soccer has become known as one of the top programs in the Tampa Bay area and throughout the State of Florida. With over 450 wins to his credit, Coach Roberts has worked with numerous FACA All-State players, District Players of the Year, four Jose and Janet Alvarez Hillsborough County Senior Players of the Year, five NSCAA All-Americans, as well as abundant FHSAA and Hillsborough County All-Stars. Berkeley teams have amassed a highly successful resume under his tutelage with five State Final Fours, 23 regional tournament appearances, and 23 District Championship or Runner-Up Awards.

Coach Roberts is a Springfield College alum where he played four years of collegiate soccer. He has been recognized as the Tampa Tribune Coach of the Decade, a NSCAA State Coach of the Year, as well as countless FACA District Coach of the Year recognitions. Ken has also spent many years volunteering his time to the High School soccer community presently serving as the longtime FACA girls soccer District Chairman, and Girls Soccer Chairman for the Janet Alvarez Senior Player of the Year Award selection committee. Coach Roberts is on the PE staff in the Lower Division.
