Berkeley is home to approximately 300 faculty and staff members who are passionate about preparing students to become lifelong learners. The school takes pride in hiring dynamic and compassionate professionals who are among the finest in their areas. And those professionals are genuinely invested in the success of each student.

Our faculty and staff are passionate about surrounding Berkeley students with opportunities. They embrace the natural curiosity that young children bring to school and build upon it. They show students the possibilities in their lives, pay attention to what grabs their interests, and encourage them to pursue those interests to the fullest. As a result, they help children climb heights they never thought they could reach.

A significant benefit of working at Berkeley is having access to incredible resources and professional development opportunities. In addition, Berkeley believes that an excellent education is the best countermeasure to injustice in the world. The education we offer at Berkeley fosters confidence and builds critical thinking skills so that as students grow and eventually attain their highest potential, they are fully prepared to comment on and take action against injustices as they see them. • Professional Development & Personal Enrichment

We believe that ongoing professional development opportunities are essential to providing students with a 21st-Century education. Our teachers not only attend, but conduct seminars and discussions. Many teachers see their works published in national publications, and even more receive special grants for further study. Berkeley’s faculty received the most National Endowment for the Humanities grants of any school in the nation. Students reap the rewards of such scholarly investigations in classroom discussions and Advanced Placement courses.

Our 86-acre campus in suburban Tampa offers first-rate educational and athletic resources and distinct, age-appropriate areas for the Lower, Middle and Upper Divisions. In addition to state-of-the-art facilities, extensive resources allow faculty members to maximize curriculum development for their classroom.
