Consultation for Nonprofits
The Berkeley Academy Institute is a consultation program that aims to help participants expand, improve, or explore the cultivation and implementation of authentic, service-driven private/public partnerships. Participants will engage in an immersive, multifaceted professional development experience catered to the specific needs, goals, and resources of their school or organization.
The institute is comprised of:
-
two pre-institute consultations (via Zoom) that aim to help participants further articulate their vision.
-
a two-day, comprehensive workshop series and site visit at Berkeley Preparatory School. For 2025, these dates are July 9-11.
-
Participants will engage in a deep-dive exploration of Berkeley’s signature service program, the Berkeley Academy, and meet with a variety of school and service leaders based on their areas of interest.
-
-
two follow-up implementation consultations (via Zoom).
Participants in the Berkeley Academy Institute will have the opportunity to reflect, brainstorm, and create action plans that will enable their community to further their work in making a positive difference in the world.
Pricing: $2,500 per school/organization (for up to five people). This fee covers all institute consultations, workshops, and meals.
All proceeds from the Berkeley Academy Institute go directly to the Berkeley Academy—supporting students from low-income families achieve their dream of going to college.
Due to the personalized nature of this professional development experience, the institute can accommodate only up to two schools/organizations each summer.
