Lower Division Students Explore Spanish Cuisines

At the end of the school year, fourth and fifth grade students explored different cuisines and Spanish food vocabulary by designing their own restaurant concept, complete with a unique menu written entirely in Spanish. To wrap up this experience, they took part in a Food Fiesta celebration, during which they presented a dish from their menu—describing it in Spanish, listing the ingredients, and sharing it with their classmates and teachers.
