How to Apply to Middle Division

Parents are encouraged to schedule a campus visit to discuss the admissions process. Schedule a tour with the Admissions Office by calling (813) 885-1673 or emailing admissions@berkeleyprep.org. 

Please note:  a campus visit is not required prior to submitting an application.

• Complete the online application and submit the non-refundable $75 application fee.

• Upload applicant’s birth certificate and photograph.

• The application deadline is February 1. Admissions applications received after February 1 will be considered for our waiting pool.

From your myBerkeley Admissions Checklist, electronically submit the form to your school registrar after November 15. Your registrar should email the required school documents to admissions@berkeleyprep.org.

From your myBerkeley Admissions Checklist, electronically submit the teacher recommendations (current English and Math) after November 15.

• Register for the SSAT by visit www.ssat.org. Berkeley is offering the following on-campus dates: October 11, November 15, December 13, December 22, and January 3.

• When registering, please select Berkeley (school code 1600) as a score recipient.

• Early SSAT testing (prior to January) is strongly encouraged.

• Berkeley will confirm receipt of your application and schedule an appointment with the Admissions Office for the OLSAT (Otis-Lennon School Ability Test) and a writing sample at Berkeley. 
• These small group sessions will be scheduled October through February.
• Admissions will schedule individual interviews during the testing visit.

Berkeley makes all admissions decisions without regard to financial status. Families who have reviewed their financial situation and feel that help may be needed in paying tuition should apply for assistance.
