Middle Division Students Give Back

Middle Division students recently took part in a Community Service Day—the first of six this school year. During half the day, each grade made progress on their yearlong project, with sixth grade concentrating on food insecurity and sustainable gardening, seventh grade working on affordability with Habitat for Humanity and Clothes for Kids, and eighth grade focusing on homelessness.

The rest of the day was spent visiting one of our almost 30 community service venues, including various local elementary schools, retirement communities, memory care facilities, food banks, and parks.
