2026 Scholastic Art & Writing Award Winners

Congratulations to the Berkeley student regional winners in the 2026 Scholastic Art & Writing Award competition! Founded in 1923 and presented by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers, this competition is the longest-running and most prestigious recognition program for creative teens in the United States.
The photo featured here is from Warner Donat ’27, who won the Gold and Silver Awards.
The art projects will be displayed at the University of South Florida’s Carolyn M. Wilson Art Gallery during the first two weeks of May and can be viewed during their regular visiting hours.
