Bruce Lucas Shares Entrepreneurial Lessons at Lasher Business Institute

The Lasher Center for Business and Entrepreneurial Studies recently welcomed Bruce Lucas, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Slide Insurance Holdings (NASDAQ: SLDE), to our Lasher Business Institute’s Business Leadership Symposium.

Bruce shared insights from his remarkable entrepreneurial journey, from growing up in rural Indiana in a family that lived paycheck to paycheck to building and leading successful insurance companies. Drawing on his experience in corporate law, hedge funds, and entrepreneurship, he discussed founding Heritage Insurance (NYSE: HRTG) and taking it public before launching Slide, which he subsequently led through its own IPO. He also offered students a behind-the-scenes look at the IPO process and how technology and innovation are shaping the property insurance industry.
